We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing behavior and advocacy services to individuals who are facing behavioral challenges. Our mission is to empower individuals and their families with the tools and strategies they need to lead fulfilling lives by addressing their behavioral needs.
We also aim to provide caregivers and teachers with resources and training that will make it less challenging to work with individuals with special needs. We have demonstrated a strong commitment to providing advocacy services for individuals in Nigeria, such as assisting families in sourcing out providers that can accommodate their child's needs, periodically collaborating with therapists to ensure those needs are met, and providing families with essential resources to aid them with their child's development. We work with families with children facing communication challenges.
Our proactive approach includes sourcing Picture Exchange Communication and speech devices for non-verbal individuals and collaborating with dedicated speech therapists who volunteer their time to train technicians and parents. These collaborative efforts have been pivotal in expanding access to speech devices enabling non-verbal individuals to express themselves effectively. Through this initiative, we've seen the remarkable transformation of lives, as individuals previously struggled to communicate find their voices, and connect with their loved ones and communities.
Our commitment to this advocacy service underscores our mission to empower individuals with behavioral challenges, promoting not only behavioral change but also enhancing their quality of life and inclusion in Nigerian society.
The heart and soul of Empower Behavior Advocates lies in its dedicated and passionate team of volunteers. They include behavioral analysts, therapists, and support personnel, bringing a wealth of expertise, experience, and empathy to our organization.
They work tirelessly to design and implement personalized behavior intervention plans, ensuring that individuals receive the best possible support on their journey toward behavioral improvement. Our volunteers, equally integral to our mission, generously contribute their time, skills, and enthusiasm to our cause.
Whether it's assisting in community events, offering mentorship, or lending a helping hand, our volunteers embody the spirit of compassion and advocacy that defines our organization. They form a dynamic, caring community dedicated to empowering individuals and promoting positive behavioral change, making a profound and lasting impact on the lives they touch.
Empower Behavior Advocates is deeply committed to its mission of promoting positive behavioral change and fostering a supportive, inclusive community. In pursuit of this goal, we recognize the significance of collaboration with both local and international partners. Locally, we collaborate with Behavior clinics, healthcare providers, and community organizations to implement effective behavior intervention strategies tailored to the needs of individuals and families in our region.
On an international scale, we engage with like-minded organizations, researchers, and advocates to exchange best practices, stay informed about global advancements in the field, and contribute to the global conversation surrounding behavioral advocacy.
These partnerships allow us to broaden our impact, drive innovation, and empower individuals with behavioral challenges to thrive in their communities, both at home and around the world. Together, with our local and international partners, we are working to create a more inclusive and supportive world for everyone.
